She was predeceased by : her parents, Pinkey Alexander and Myrtle Hamilton Garrett; her siblings, Harold Dean Garrett, Junior Alexander Garrett, Danny Kay Garrett, Betty Lou Garrett, Mary Katherine Garrett, Shirley Bailey and Joann Dalton; and her grandson Eric Junior Parker.
She is survived by : her husband Odell Parks of Traphill; her daughter Sandy Gause of Gastonia; and her siblings, Michael Garrett of West Jefferson, Eric Garrett of Lenoir, Clifford Hamilton (Eleanor) of Wilkesboro, Diane Hayes of Charlotte, Mildred Garrett of West Jefferson and Valerie Garrett of West Jefferson. She is also survived by one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
