She was predeceased by : her parents, William Wordie and Belva Iona Queen Kyle; and her siblings, Robert "Sonny" Kyle, Mildred Sue Kyle, Mary Louise Kyle and Fannie Lucille Kyle.

She is survived by : her son Carl Buford Cleary of Moravian Falls; and her sisters, Loretta Haynes (Steve) of North Wilkesboro and Judy Love of Virginia.
