She was predeceased by : her parents, James Triplett and Jettie Bell Triplett; and her siblings, Jim, Cliff Triplett, Aline Hanes and Hazel Triplett.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christine Howell Gambill (Charles) of Wilkesboro and Billie Howell of Wilkesboro; her siblings, Pat Coppley of Lexington and Leon Triplett of Jonesville; her grandsons, Stephen Gambill of Raleigh and Devin Leonard (Justin) of Wilkesboro; and her pets, Chase, Ralphie, Millie Jurrell and Walter Frances. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 or contact Wilkes County Schools to make a donation to the Nichols for Kids Fund.
