It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Pilkington of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gurney Greene and Dollie Greene of Watauga County; her husband Ralph Thomas Pilkington, Sr.; and her siblings, Rita Martin, Marie Pilkington, Nettie Brooks, Gaires Greene and John Greene.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Pilkington Warren (Gary) of Purlear, Gail P. Church Gorby (Doug Triplett) of Painesville, OH and Ralph Thomas Pilkington, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Millers Creek; her granddaughter Angela Warren Roten (Scotty); her great grandchild Cameron (Kacie Cardwell); her grandsons, Caleb of Purlear and Adam Warren (Laurie); her great grandchildren, Samuel and Tate of Sugar Grove; her grandchild Devone Church Lansing (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Sadie, Josephine, Adelaide and Jedidiah of Mentor, OH; her grandchildren, Joshua Pilkington of Millers Creek and Natasha Pilkington Harris (Britt); her great grandchildren, Bayleigh, Colton and Maddox of Millers Creek; and her siblings, Novella Greene Christenbury of Wilkesboro and William "Lonnie" Greene (Vivian) of White Pine, TN..
