It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Katherine Benfield of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 75, on November 14, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wall and Louise Pennell Wall; and her son William David Benfield. She is survived by: her husband Ray Benfield; her children, Nikki Joyce (Pat) of Mooresville and Travis Benfield (Cindy) of Lewisville; her grandchildren, Connor, Ansley and Emmett Joyce; her brothers, Arnold Wall of Taylorsville and Rev. Roger Wall of Wendell, NC; and her close friends, Carol Perkins and Joyce Nichols. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Health Foundation PO Box 667 North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
