He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Harrold and Ruth Combs Harrold; his sister Donna Karen Novotny; his wife Judy Lane Johnson Harrold; his stepsons, Derrick Allen Higgins of Miami Florida and Jeffery Scott Higgins (Melissa) of North Wilkesboro; and his granddaughter Melia Kathryn Higgins of North Wilkesboro.
