He was predeceased by : his parents, Reinaldo Hernandez Perez and Maria Lucrecia Estevez-Estevez. He is survived by : his sons, Orelbis Hernandez-Menecia (Midailys Santo Hernandez) of Wilkesboro and Osbel Hernandez-Menecia (Suleidy Fumero Aguiar) of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Marcos Alejandro Hernandez Santo, Matthew Hernandez Santo and Sophia Hernandez. He is also survived by three sisters; five brothers.
