Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shelby Nichols of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on February 12, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Granville and Vay Johnson Oakley; her husband Paul Nichols of Wilkes County; and her siblings, Jimmy Lee Oakley and Mattie Lucille Summers.
She is survived by : her children, Stuart Nichols (Beatriz) of Columbus, Mark Nichols of Charlotte and Paula Nichols Bullock (David) of Beavercreek, Ohio; her grandchildren, Paul Nichols, Ashley Nichols Hash (Keegan), Christopher Bullock, Jenna Bullock Saliba (Joseph) and John Bullock (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Isabella Bullock, Raymond, Elias Saliba and Wyatt Hash; her siblings, Hal Oakley (Helen), Douglas Oakley and Betty Oakley Chambers (Glenn); her niece Marsha Williams; and her sisters-in-law, Maxine Nichols and Marie Nichols. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
