It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zyra Mudd of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Elsia Rae Martin and Jaylan Christopher Mudd; her brother Kanelo Mudd; her grandparents, Kayla Martin (William) of North Wilkesboro, Ronnie Mudd (Ruth Moretz Mudd) of Hays and Danielle Farrar (Henry Farrar) of Burlington; and her aunts and uncles, Talia Martin, Anita Martin, Tina Martin, Zenobia Farrar, Jermayne Martin, William Martin, Elias Martin, Hakeem Lea and Rasheem Lea. She is also survived by great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reins - Sturdivant Chapel.
