It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Mathews of Willard, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Henry "H. L.". She is survived by : her daughter Loretta M. Powell (Jimmy) of Willard; her grandchildren, Jeremy Powell (Kristen), Ashley Rezk (Mostafa) and Henry "Lee" Matthews, III (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Hunter Powell, Ashdan, Landan Stone and Lily Grace Matthews; and her siblings, Clayton, Johnny Rivenbark and Annie Jane Flynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Wells Chapel Baptist Church, 2070 Wallace Hwy, Wallace, NC 28466.
