She was predeceased by: her fathers, Benjamin Barber and Charlie Elizabeth Force Barber; her husband Charles Alfred Coffield; and her daughter Allison Boyette. She is survived by: her son John Hardison of Virginia Beach, VA; and her siblings, Benjamin Barber of Plymouth and Marie Rogerson of Williamston. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 Wellness Dr. # B, Greenville, NC 27834.
