He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jasper and Daisy Mae Holliday Silverthorne; his son Hank Silverthorne; and his brother Gene Silverthorne. He is survived by: his wife Vera Bland Silverthorne; his son Joey Silverthorne (Sharon) of Williamston; his siblings, Betty Rogers (Felton) of Williamston, Lydia Mitchell (Jim) of Smithfield, VA, Janie Silverthorne of Newport News, VA and Dallas Silverthorne (Angela) of Va; his grandchildren, Melody Nelson, Hayley, Taylor, Walker Silverthorne and Dylan Tripp (Grace); and his great grandchildren, Mary Ella, Mae, Mattie Nelson and Thorne Edwards.
