He was predeceased by : his father William Cecil Barnett, Sr.; and his brother Michael Anthony Barnett. He is survived by : his wife Shanda Hunsucker Barnett; his children, William Ross Barnett and Heather Elizabeth Barnett; and his mother Jo Ann Carver Barnett.
