With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Franklin Mutters Jr. in Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin Mutter, Sr. and Irene Ison Mutters. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hutchinson Mutters; his children, Jimmy Mutters (Susann), Robert Mutters (Caroline) and Karen Ivey (Darren Ivey); and his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brody, Peyton, Emma, Cora, Alice and Wesley.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
