He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Wooten; his daughters, Laurie Wooten Seitter (Ray) and Karen Wooten Proctor (Lee); his grandchildren, Ashley Benbow (Matt), Kelsey Seitter, Tessa Rivenbark (Patrick), Michaela Seitter (Steve), Joshua Seitter, Samantha Seitter, Tyler Proctor (Macy) and Justin Proctor; his great grandchildren, Braylee, Thomas and Daley; and his siblings, Lynette Sumerlin (Jerry) and Michael Wooten.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
