We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2025, at the age of 90, John Richardson Schenck Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John Richardson had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John Richardson may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father John Richardson; and his children, John Richardson Schenck, III and Neel Mackey Schenck. He is survived by: his wife Carol Clark Schenck; his stepchildren, Bernard Jefferson "Jeff" Morris, Jr. (Jill Painter Morris) and Elizabeth Ann "Lisa" Morris Dozier (William Harris Dozier, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Carol "Clark" Dozier, William "Harris" Dozier, III, Ann "Mackenzie" Morris and Haiden "Trigg" Morris.
