With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Gore Loveless of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Southport, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Vance Gore Sr. and Susan Messic Parker Gore; and her brothers, Alric, Edward Jr., Howard and Jack.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Brooke and Bryna Barton; and her children, Missy Barton (Eric) and Jeff Loveless (Karen).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Shore Animal League, a renowned animal rescue and adoption organization.
