He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dixon and Ruby Dixon; his wife Lois Dixon; and his sister Martha Jean Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Candi Dixon, Melody Sams (Jimmy), Margaret Brown, Robert Dixon Jr., Lynn Dixon and Shannon Dixon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren six great grandchildren.
