We bid farewell to Rosa Stone Upchurch of Wilmington, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2025 at the age of 76. Rosa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father George Oliver Stone; and her siblings, Anthony Stone and Linda Mabry. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Stone Sale of Livermore, CA and Alexandria Upchurch of Wilmington, NC; her daughter-in-law Ruby Guevarra of Livermore, CA; her grandsons, Jacob Sale of Tampa, FL and Harper Vincent of Raleigh, NC.; her mother Virigina Stone; and her siblings, George Stone, Jr., Ronald Stone and Rebecca Stone.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Community Congregational Church (141 N Bennett St, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
