She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Messenger and Leona Messenger; her husband Charles B. Carder; and her son Stephen Michael Carder. She is survived by: her sisters, Judy Bennet, Linda Hall and Jaineay Brasselle; her children, John David Carder of Kona, HI and Tracie Carder Tart of Wilmington, NC; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Whitney and Grace. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
