She is survived by: her husband Thomas LaFayette; her children, William Scott Griffin, Sinclair Griffin Lee (Eric) and Ann Thomas Griffin Johnston (Murray); her stepdaughter Laura Miller Hutchins (Don); her grandchildren, Candace Hutchins Price (Andrew), Donald Brett "Skip" Hutchins (Susannah), Anita Hampton Griffin, Ann Lyndon Griffin, William Scott "Chip" Griffin, Jr, Murray Lloyd Johnston, IV and Margaret Griffin Johnston; her great grandchildren, Thomas Henry Price and Mary-Miller Elizabeth Price; and her sister Margaret Geraldine "Jerry" Stocks (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
