He is survived by: his wife Maude Brown Winstead; his children, Gregory Daniels of Stantonsburg, NC, Krishan Winstead of Wilson, NC, Rodney Winstead of Atlanta, GA and Evongela Daniels of Stanstonsburg, NC; his stepdaughters, Jewell Farrar (Kwana) of Raleigh, NC and Jasmine Carrington of Raleigh, NC; his foster children, Ebony Williams and Scottiara Williams; his grandchildren, Tiphanie, Kyndall and Londyn; his brother Roy Lee Winstead, Sr. (Lenda) of Wilson, NC; his aunts and uncles, Willie of Wilson, NC, Bobby Barnes of Wilson, NC, Carl Barnes, Marjorie Sizemore of Wilson, NC and Clara Lee Coley of Spring Hope, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Brown Renfrow (Jerry) of Wilson, NC, Leavy Brown (Johanna) of Clayton, NC and Melvin Reid of Lucama, NC. He is also survived by three nieces; one nephew; and a host of cousins, other special relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID Pandemic, the family will limit the visitation of friends at the residence, 2506 Albany Lane, Wilson, NC, to Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p. m.
