She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bishop Willie Thomas; her children, Taforrest Parrott (Glenn) of Grayson, GA, Corey Thomas (Jenifer) of Clemmons, NC, Marcus Thomas (Demetris) and Tukulve Thomas (Ashley) of Wilson, NC; her stepdaughter Felicia Clay of Wilson, NC; and her sisters, Bernice Walker of Trenton, NJ, Annie Artis (Freeman), Peggy Finch of Stantonsburg, NC, Rose Mitchell of Saratoga, NC and Susie Finch Douglas (James) of Wilson, NC. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five aunts, three uncles, two special nieces, Dymeshia Finch and Vienary Tanskley; Her goddaughter, Monisha Gorham; her godson, Ceasar White; a host other of relatives and friends.
