She was predeceased by: her husband Brutus Wells; her daughter Phyllis Perry; her grandson Bryan Wells; and her sisters, Rochelle Flora, Robena McKeel, Van Delia Winbourne and Jean Underwood.
She is survived by: her friend Cedar Grove Church; her son Larry Wells (Elaine) of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Julie Wells, Anna Crawford (Conner), Barney Perry (Lori) and Scott Perry; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Ty Lewis, Sara and Abigail Perry; and her son-in-law Ralph Perry of Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 5235-A NC Hwy 42 W, Wilson NC 27893.
