She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ruffin, Sandra Battle (Vernon, Sr.) and Willie Ray Ruffin (Kay Wanda); her grandchildren, Annjennette Morgan (Derrick), April Grantham (Lavoris), Cassandra Batchelor (Darry), Shanicke Hinnant, Brianna Langston, Jaonna Hudson, Vernon L. Battle, Jr., Edwin Langston, Jr., Jaylan Ruffin, Jerome Ruffin, Jr. and Travious Ruffin; her great grandchildren, Tesaih Grantham, Curiney Cain, Tiana Grantham, Raequawn Anderson, Davione Bieri, Mallory Cain, Jr., Markel Cannady, Lavoris Grantham, Jr. and Travoris Collins; her siblings, Illene Barnes, Dorsey Ruffin, Janice Ruffin, Hilda Moore, Joyce Ward, Cleo Thomas (Robert), Jay Ruffin, Sylvester Ruffin, Ricky Ruffin, Clay Ruffin (Doretha) and Christopher Bernard Ruffin; her nephew Eddie Lee Ruffin; her aunt Esther Ruffin; and her sisters-in-law, Vickie Ruffin and Willie Mae Ruffin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin.
