He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke C. Tedder and Victoria Lewis Tedder; and his sisters, Ethel Shepherd, Mildred Murphy, Geneva Godwin, Rachel Duke and Geraldine Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Page Tedder; his children, Beckie Luckey, Nancy Etheridge (Billy) of Wilson, Gwen Tedder (Herb VanRoekel) of Black Mountain and Joey Tedder (Kelli) of Wilson; and his siblings, Verdie Dunn of Wilson, Sally Hill of Wilson, Yvonne Bass of Wilson, Mary Jean Scott of Elm City, Vara Matthis of Clinton, Carlton Tedder (Ramona) of Wilson and Marion Tedder (Faye) of Rolesville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
