He is survived by: his wife Georgia Webb Gardner; his children, Connie Amerson (Martin) of Wilson, Debby Bell (Jerry) of Raleigh and Myron Gardner (Lucy) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Brian Holland (Christian) of Wilson, Ashley Sebastian (Ryan) of Lumberton, Erin McQueen (Brock) of Coronado, CA and Reagan Moreira (Tony) of Lucama; his great grandchildren, Teddy Holland, Landon Sebastian, Aidan Sebastian, Thorin Moreira and Eleanor McQueen; and his brother Glen Gardner of Wilson.
