He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodrow and Alice Phillips Wilson; and his brother James "Jim" Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy B. Wilson; his son Mike Wilson of Clayton; his daughter-in-law Lydia Wilson of Kenly; his brothers, Johnny Wilson (Rendy) of Durham and Woody Wilson (Doris) of Sims; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Glover of Sims and Sarah Purkerson of Sims. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
