He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emma Jean Rodgers; his daughter Sharon Dickens Williams (Dennis) of Knightdale, NC; his siblings, Shirley Thomas of Wilson, NC, Eloise Rogers of Washington, DC and Elder William Earl Rogers (Elder Millernise); his grandsons, Rashed Dickens of Greensboro, NC and Royshaun Dickens; his aunts, Doris Battle of Washington, DC, Lois Williams of Washington, DC and Jean Woodard of Wilson, NC; and his uncle John Woodard (Dezerine) of Wilson, NC. He was also cherished by six sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
