Doane was loved and cherished by many people including: parents, George Spencer Warren and Mary Carrow Herring Warren of Wilson, NC.; wife Ethel Clayton "Clayt" Davis; sons, Doane Jr. (Beth) of Durham and Ted (Connie) of Clemmons; grandchildren, Holly Davis (Doug) of Advance and Wil Warren (Katie) of Clemmons; and great grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Wilson Warren, Jr., Hailey Davis and Daphne Davis.
