Doris Etheridge Burdette Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Etheridge Burdette of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Leonard Gray Etheridge; her sons, Bobby Gerald Etheridge and Gregory Scott Etheridge; her parents, Crayton Jefferson Davis and Nancy Faulk Davis; her stepmother Eunice Davis; and her siblings, Retha Bass, Ruth Jenkins, Lucille Lucas, Eleanor Rose, James Davis and Clifford Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Ray Burdette; her sons, Leonard "Skeeter" Etheridge (Lea Ann) of Lucama and Larry Dean Etheridge of Wilson; and her sisters, Frances Lucas of Bailey and Linda Perry of Garner. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
