She is survived by: her sister Mary Faye Thomas of Shalimar, Florida; her children, William Henry Barnes, Jr. (Carol) of Durham, Ernest Phillips Barnes of Wilson and Janet Barnes Harris (John) of Hendersonville; and her grandchildren, Preston Sterling Barnes, Elizabeth Barnes, Faith McGrain (Matt), John Winston Harris (Kayla), Lauren Branch Harris and Phillip Carawan Barnes (Jennifer). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
