She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Randolph Whitehead; her son Elwood Randolph Whitehead Jr.; and her brother Randolph Winstead of Virginia. She is survived by: her son William A. Whitehead (Victoria) of Wilson; her sister Myrtle Rose of Rocky Mount; and her grandsons, William A. Whitehead Jr. (Brittney) of Zebulon and Randy Chase Whitehead of Wilson.
