With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Boyette Joyner of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Farmer and John Thomas Boyette; and her sister Virginia Boyette Lee. She is survived by: her spouse Jesse Clinton Joyner; her children, Jesse Clinton Joyner Jr. (Donna) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Virginia Joyner Kennedy (Jim) of McLean and Catherine Irene Joyner Lughes (Jody) of Raleigh; and her brother John William Boyette, Sr.. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
