She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Woody I. Bynum; her children, Reggie K. Bynum of Fountain, NC, Edith Faye Gorham of Macclesfield, NC, Pamela Edwards of Fountain, NC and Lanette Ann Kearney of Tarboro, NC; and her siblings, James Speight of Wilson, NC, Richard Edwards, Freddy Edwards, Michael Edwards of Fountain, NC, Robert Edwards of Atlanta, Jimmy Edwards, Willie Edwards, Leatha Tyson of Macclesfield, NC, Patricia Barnes of Farmville, NC and Joyce Edwards of Greenville, NC. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
