He is survived by: his wife Linda Batts Ruffin; his children, Kimberly Ruffin of Annandale, VA, Edwina Ruffin of Raleigh, NC and Morris Batts (Margaret) of Savannah, GA; and his sisters, Betty W. Jones (Robert) of Wilson, NC, Barbara R. Worthy (Essie) of Wilson, NC, Linda R. Dickerson (Jesse) of Wilson, NC, Joann Dickerson of Wilson, NC and Phyllis R. Vick (Floyd) of Youngsville, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
