Barnes of Elm City, NC, Timothy Barnes (Beverly) of Rocky Mt, LaMarshall Barnes (Carolyn) of Pinetops, NC and James Barnes; his siblings, Virginia Atkinson of Elm City, NC, Carolyn Batts (James) of Wilson, NC, Sarah Alsup of Wilson, NC, Josephine Tyson of Wilson, NC, Archie Barnes, Jeremiah Barnes (Judy) of Elm City, NC and Walter Barnes (Shirley) of Newark, NJ; and his grandchildren, Tanisha Barnes, Shannon Ehrenpreis, Kendra Williams, Jessica Barnes, Joseph Chandler, Brandon Barnes, Brittany Cherry, Candace Woodard, Tiffany Barnes, Mychal Bailey and Justin Barnes. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
