She was predeceased by: her former husband Willie Sharpe, Sr.; her husband Wiley C. Wooten; her son Willie Sharpe, Jr.; her siblings, Ida Epps, Delores Epps, Bettie Hinton, Willie Epps, Jesse Epps and James Epps; and her close friends, Gladys M. and Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Bullock of Wilson, NC, Pastor Michelle Hargrove (Michael) of Wilson, NC, Linda Bynum (Jerry) of Elm City, NC and Leon Sharpe (Peggy) of El Paso, Texas; her grandchildren, Tonya (Shon), Tawana (Nikki), Sharmayne (Little Ellen), Carrington (Missy) and Willie (Dwayne); her siblings, Joyce Moreno, Edward Epps (Lena) of Rocky Mount, NC, Albert Epps of Rocky Mount, NC, Bennie Epps (Dorothy) of Rocky Mount, NC and Leroy Epps (Selma) of Rocky Mount, NC; her siblings' children, Gloria Williams of Goldsboro, NC, Shirley Howard of Dudley, NC and Terry Epps Greenbelt; and her pet Roxie Hargrove. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; eight adopted grandchildren.
