He was predeceased by: his grandson Ethan Pearson; his grandparents, Lillie and Marshall Carlisle; his uncle Larry Carlisle; his aunt Barbara Edward; his niece Christy Joann Mooring; and his friend David Mooring.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Marie Edwards; his parents, Russell Edwards and Joanne Carlisle Edwards; his children, Elvis, Edwards, Jr. of Lucama, Martin McCullen, Jr. of Alabama and Jennifer McCullen of Alabama; his grandchildren, Reid Edwards, Tyler Chapman, Phillip, Levi Pearson, Gauge, Maddox and Blaise McCullen; his siblings, Connie Hall of Sims and Russell Edwards, Jr. of Lucama; and his nieces, Brittany Edwards, Katie Hall and Brandi Scoggins.
