He is survived by: his children, Tammy Scott of Tarboro, Johnnie Long (David) of Leggett and Fred Scott Jr. (Rachel) of Red Oak; his siblings, John Scott of Wilson, Huddie of Richmond, Virginia, George of Richmond, Virginia, James of Richmond, Virginia, Danny of Richmond, Virginia and Bessie Scott of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Wilbur Meeks, Jr., Christopher Meeks, Jonathan Casper, Sabrina, Kody, Riley, Adylin and Fred Scott, III; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Sebastian, Isabella, Lydia Meeks, Damien and Savanah Pridgen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
