It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Barrett of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hales Barrett; his children, Debbie Skinner of Wilson, Jo Anne Johnson of Wilson, Tonya Barrett of Wilson, Kim Hinton (Chuck) of Apex, Mike Barrett of Lucama and Al Gardner of Wilson; and his sisters, Arlene Elander (Dick) of Syracuse, NY, Bonney Tamkins (Dave) of Florida and Charlene Maxian (Jerry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity FWB Church, 2200 Downing St SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
