She was predeceased by: her parents, Pervise Bryant and Esther Pearson Bryant; and her sister Mary Lou Proctor. She is survived by: her husband David V. Poythress; her children, Anya Capps (Robert Ward) of Wilson and Pruitt Poythress of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Natalie Capps, Ethan and Hudson Capps; and her siblings, Betty Bogue (Jesse) of Wilson and Robert Bryant of Wilson.
