He is survived by: his wife Lynne Waterstraut Medlin; his children, Kimberly Dudley (J. T.) of King George, VA, John Medlin (Shannon) of Rocky Mount and Jeff Medlin (Rhonda) of Clayton; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsi, Mandi, Marianne Medlin (Chanthanome Inthisone), Dylan Phipps, Hunter and Rion Dudley.
