He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce N. Kniffin; his daughters, Kim Smith of Wilson and Melissa Bex; his grandchildren, Zachary, Reagan (Morgan Smith), Rob Bex and Blake Dover (Brooke Hall); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Aubrie, Reece Bex, Bishop Dover and Jaxon Hall; his siblings, Ardel Whitaker, Phil, David and Earl Kniffin, Jr.; and his close friends, Carlton, Romona Tedder and Dillon Webb.
