He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilliard Evans and Ella Gray Pittman; and his brother Larry Evans. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Kenney Evans; his siblings, Delton Lee Evans (Sylvia), Sue Brantley (Jimmy) and Lorraine Eason (Ronnie); and his stepson Jamie Kenney (Jessica). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
