With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Inez Cherry (Wilson, North Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John William "Bill" Cherry, Jr.; her parents, Willie Carraway and May Matthews Carraway; and her siblings, Annie Lee Reid, Carolyn O'Neal, George Carraway and Elton Carraway.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Conkwright of Arapahoe and J. W. "Jack" Cherry III (Jane) of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, John W. Cherry IV of Granite Quarry, Julie C. Edge of Hendersonville and William Hughes Conkwright (Julie) of Arapahoe; her great grandchildren, Keegan, Nolan Edge of Hendersonville and Bishop Anderson Conkwright of Arapahoe; and her siblings, Jesse K. Carraway of Wilson, Barbara Latta of Estero, FL, Eloise Johnson (Curtis) of Elm City and Jean Knight of Rocky Mount.
