He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Franklin Muse and LaBerta Hardy Muse; his mother-in-law Nancy Deans Flowers; his sister Anna Carol Muse; and his uncle Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Flowers; his cousins, Carol Vaughan of Waco, Susan Landers (Nick) of Albuquerque, Sally Skaggs (John) of Amarillo and Dr. Jerry Muse of Jonesboro, Arkansas.; his siblings-in-law, Jerrold Flowers and Betsy Norville Flowers; his niece Natalie Flowers; and his father-in-law Joseph Lee Flowers. He is also survived by her children, and several cousins and their spouses.
