He is survived by: his wife Betty "Baye" Inez Lamm Edwards; his son James Bryan Edward of Wilson; his sister Alice Jane Edwards of Wake Forest; his sister-in-law Brenda Lamm Holloman of Pikeville; his nephews, William Jeremy Edwards of Wilmington, Michael Smith of Pikeville and Wayne Smith of Pikeville; his great-niece Brynnlee Creech; and his pets, Bentley and Abagail.
