He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Whitley and Josephine W. Peaden; his wife Yvonne Bridgers Whitley of Macclesfield; his stepfather Bill Peaden; and his siblings, Edna Earl Greene and Tommy Whitley.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha W. Moore (Johnny) and James Keith Whitley (Vanessa); his sister Jean Eatmon; his half-siblings, Kay Peaden Williams (Donald) and Van Peaden (Rita); his grandchildren, Lindsey Bruton Bard, Justin Whitley, Nina O'Neal, Hope Dail and Johnna Davis; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Michael Bard, Aubrey Bard, Lowe O'Neal and Emmett O'Neal.
Due to COVID-19 face mask and social distancing is requested by the family.
