He is survived by: his children, Kionte Powell of Wilson, NC and Kechara "Mookie" Powell of Greenville, NC; his sibling Elder Miguel "Toby" Hall; his grandchildren, K'Maria Powell of Wilson, NC, Z'Niyah Powell of Wilson, NC and Brielle Burnett of Greenville; his parents, Jasper Lee Powell, Sr. of Baltimore, MD and Bobbie Jean Suggs (James "Joe"); his sisters, Deborah Yelverton of Wilson, NC, Cynthia Knight (Daniel) of Knightdale, NC and Jacqueline Vick of St. Louis, MO; his uncle Robert Powell; his aunts, Tudie Ward (Robert) of Zebulon, NC, Brenda Lucas (Jerome) of Wilson, NC, Bobbire Jean Powell of Wilson, NC and Shirley Singleton; his nephews, Cornelius Yelverton, Brandon Jackson, Justin Jordan, Rhyen Knight and Jordan Knight; and his niece Latoya Yelverton. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
